Hello Music Lovers.
Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner, and Apple & Britt are ready to sing all about it this weekend. Yes! This Saturday, June 9th, there was a cancellation at The Globe Restaurant and Bar in Berlin, MD, and Apple & Britt were asked to fill the spot! 7 to 10pm we will serenade you as you dine on delicious food and drink at this local’s favorite. Supporting us means supporting the local restauranteurs who host us, so please be sure to make your reservations with those thoughts in mind.

Apple & Britt will be at The Globe again on Saturday, August 18th. Same time frame: 7 to 10pm. Mark your social calendar and start inviting your friends now.
In between those two gigs we are supposed to start playing every other weekend (Fridays and Saturdays) at the Vineyard Wine Bar and Bistro in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We do not yet have exact dates but Joe, the manager, hopes to reopen the restaurant the first week of July, so Dale and I are planning on being there July 6 and 7th, and every other weekend after that, or some variation thereof.

This is good news for Dale who is pretty much retired at this point but wants to keep his hand in the music game. I’m happy for the upcoming light schedule, too, because I am committed to my day job throughout the week.
In other news, Dale Britt will be leading an instrumental jazz trio on Friday, October 12 in Rock Hall, MD. Alan Dale will be on drums while a yet to be determined bass player will round out the trio. I don’t know the location but I think he said it is a private affair for locals anyway. I’m happy for him. A big thanks to Joe Holt for his help with it!
