Shrimpy's has a nice, little stage area with a PIANO for Dale to play!  There's room for dancing, too!

We will have a set-list prepared but will also take requests, as usual, although I doubt I will be distributing songlists throughout the restaurant. Maybe I'll find an appropriate little table on or near the stage on which to display our Request List, post-its and pens. Maybe I'll be able to place it next to our tip bowl and business cards.

I am excited to play in this venue where so many wonderful, local musicians have performed this past year. Shrimpy's is only one year old, don't ya know? They have only just begun to shine as a live music venue on the Eastern Shore, bringing music to the masses WITH FOOD.

Being a working musician is both thrilling and challenging. As our bodies age we struggle with facing the reality of the effort it takes to move equipment and face an audience confidently while inside we are at times full of anxiety, low self-esteem and fear of not being accepted. Yet, when we pull off a song with creative energy and skill we remember once again why we love this job. When all that happens and an audience expresses appreciation, we remember why we go to all the trouble and effort. Thanks for making it worth our time to create music in a local venue!
